Paying the Umpire

Each team splits the cost of the umpire.

The total cost for an umpire is as follows:

• BPL
  • 10U, 12U, and 14U - $75
• Travel
  • 10U - $76
  • 12U and 14U - $80

The total cost for an umpire is split evenly between both teams during the regular season.  During playoffs, the host organization is responsible for the full cost.

The umpire should be paid at the beginning of the game during ground rules.

There are no umpires for 8U regular season; however, umpires will be used during the playoffs with the cost being paid by the host organization.
