Spring 2025 Rec League Registration is Open!

Important Information:
- Registration closes on February 10th 2025.
- Registration is only for Tball, 8U Coach Pitch and Rec 10U and 12U. There is no 14U Rec program this year, so only girls with 2012 birthdates or later are eligible to register.
- Evaluations will be held on 2/22 at Keystone Fastpitch in Newtown Square at the following times. Coaches should plan to stay after their age division evals are complete to do team drafts. Players will be separated and notified of time slot after registration is complete.

| 10am - 11am: | 1/2 of 10U players |
| 11am - 12pm: | 1/2 of 10U players |
| 12pm - 1pm: | 1/3 of 8U players |
| 1pm - 2pm: | 1/3 of 8U players |
| 2pm - 3pm: | 1/3 of 8U players |
- Please note that you can make one teammate request on the registration form, but we can not guarantee that it will be accommodated.
- Rec League teams will have 1 practice and 1 game per week. We will not know the exact days and times until we have a final team count in each division. We do expect it to be one week night and one Saturday morning or afternoon.
- Practices start (weather permitting) in mid March.
- Games will start the week of April 7th.
- The season and playoffs will end by June 13th. There will be no playoffs for Tball or for Media Rec 8U.
COACHES MUST REGISTER ALSO!
In order to streamline our clearance process, all coaches must complete a registration via TeamSnap. There is no cost for this registration, but it must be completed to be eligible to head coach and assistant coach.

Uniform and Equipment List
2025 Spring Season Uniform Guidelines
Every Rec League player will receive a uniform shirt. Every Rec League player should plan to wear black softball pants and black socks with their uniform shirt. The pants are not included with the uniform shirt you will receive. Black belts are optional.
**PLEASE NOTE**Every Travel League player will receive a uniform jersey, softball pants, socks and belts.
Items Needed:
- Black softball pants and black softball socks
- Softball Glove
- Softball cleats (no metal and optional for 6U)
- Softball bat (if you do not want to buy a bat for the season, you can ask a teammate to share with you)
- Softball helmet with front cage (the front cage on the helmet is mandatory)
- Fielding Face Guard (required for all players when playing in the field, but it is optional for 6U)
Nice to Have Items:
- Sliding shorts (worn undernearth softball pants) are recommended (but not mandatory) for players especially as they learn base running fundamentals and sliding.
- Protective undershirt/undershirt chest guard for pitchers. This is not mandatory, but it is something that is reccomended if your player is a pitcher to help protect them from line drives hit back to the pitcher's circle. If you google softball protective undershirts or softball undershirt chest guards it should give you a lot of options.
- Girls sometimes like to use batting gloves when they are hitting, but they are not required equipment.

- Once you do that, you will be able to complete the form.
- When it gets to the payment page, you can pay online with a credit card or with a bank account or you can select an offline payment and mail us a check at the address provided or Venmo us at @mediasoftball (9549).
Team Sponsorship: $350
This level of sponsorship will sponsor a team for the 2025 season and get your Business name on the team shirt. You will also get your name and logo on our website and on our sponsor banner for the Spring, Summer and Fall 2025 seasons.
Travel Team Practice Shirts: $500
This Level of sponsorship will get your Business name on the back of all 2025 Travel Team Practice Shirts. There are 6 Travel Teams and your name will be listed on all of those shirts along with other sponsors at this level. These shirts will have a unique design on the front for the 2025 season. It will also get your name and logo on our website and on a larger and prominent spot than our team sponsorship level on our sponsor banner for the Spring, Summer and Fall 2025 seasons.
